BIG Groups Welcome …

There are accommodations for 80 guests between the lodge and cabins including bunks with foam mattresses, flushing toilets and hot showers. Although more than 80 guests are welcome to stay on the grounds, or come out for a daytime event. Get in touch if you’d like to discuss whether your event and MRCR are a good fit.

  • 80 Bunks across all cabins and lodge

  • About 60-80 tents. Plenty of room for tent camping in the Big Field or the Center Lawn. About 40-60 tents if they’re organized in the big field, and another 20 or so in the Center Lawn, but there’s not room for that many cars.

  • Four sets of RV full hook-ups, water, sewer, power.

  • Groups with more than 100 guests staying will need to arrange for rental porta-potties to supplement sanitation capacity.

  • Parking: The parking lot holds about 20 cars, but RVs would take up some of that space. The Big Field can hold about 50 cars.

  • Sanitation: The Tan Oak Lodge has separate men’s and women’s rooms with multiple individual shower stalls. The Seldom Inn has two full baths. Each Sun Up and Sun Down cabin (four total) has its own private shower and restroom as well as a double vanity.

  • Water Access: Our spring fed water system provides plenty of water for drinking, cooking, sanitation, and bathing as well as some laundry. However, capacity IS limited, and the Mattole Valley experiences periodic droughts. We ask that guests thoughtfully conserve water wherever possible.
