Located in the Heart of California’s Lost Coast
Mattole River Camp and Retreat is nestled between towering trees and the pristine Mattole River! A perfect place for you and yours to focus on what’s important. Guests enjoy a modern lodge, quaint cabins, and beautiful outdoor spaces, along with swimming, fishing or lounging in the river. There’s about 80 beds total with plenty more room for tent campers and up to four RVs.
Our Mission
Mattole River Camp & Retreat Provides a remote space along the Mattole River for groups to gather and experience spiritual reflection and growth, to encourage stewardship of our natural resources through ecological education and action, and to strengthen our relationships with one another and our diverse communities.
